BOLD is intended for use by individuals who are 18 years or older. By using our Services, you affirm that you are at least 18 years of age. If you are under 18, you must refrain from using BOLD.

3. Description of Services

BOLD provides a wearable wristband product designed for singles seeking real-life connections. The wristband uses RFID technology to facilitate interactions between users wearing the device. Our Services may include additional features through our app, such as profile creation, location-based matching, and other social functionalities.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to use BOLD responsibly and in a manner that respects the privacy, safety, and consent of others. Specifically, you agree to:

• Use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• Respect other users' privacy and preferences.
• Avoid any behaviors that are abusive, harassing, or unlawful.

Misuse of the Services may result in suspension or termination of your account.

6. RFID and Bluetooth Technology Use

The BOLD Wristband utilizes RFID and/or Bluetooth technology to facilitate real-life interactions. You acknowledge that:

• The wristband's technology is designed to operate within a specific range and may require both users to have active devices and compatible settings.
• The connection is intended only to signal mutual interest when both parties consent by tapping or interacting with their wristbands.

We are not responsible for any connection failures or discrepancies in matching due to technology limitations or user error.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, including but not limited to the BOLD logo, branding, software, and other assets, are the exclusive property of BOLD and its licensors. You agree not to use, reproduce, or distribute any of BOLD’s intellectual property without prior written permission.

8. User-Generated Content

When using BOLD, you may have the opportunity to share information or interact with other users. By sharing content, you grant BOLD a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and distribute your content solely in connection with providing our Services.

You are solely responsible for the content you post or share through BOLD.

9. Limitation of Liability and Disclaimer of Responsibility for User Interactions

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BOLD disclaims any liability for:

• Direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our Services.
• Any interruptions or errors in the Services, including but not limited to technical issues with the wristband technology.

BOLD provides the Services on an "as is" basis and does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

BOLD is designed to foster real-life connections and interactions between users; however, the nature of social encounters involves inherent risks. By using our Services, you acknowledge and agree that BOLD cannot control or predict the behavior, conduct, or intentions of any user. As such, we expressly disclaim any liability arising from any interactions, including but not limited to, instances of harassment, assault, or other forms of misconduct encountered by users. 

1. Assumption of Risk
   By engaging with other users through BOLD, you understand and accept that all social interactions carry a level of risk. You agree to exercise caution and discretion in interactions both online and in person. BOLD encourages users to meet in public places, inform trusted friends or family members of their plans, and prioritize personal safety at all times.
2. No Screening or Background Checks
   BOLD does not perform background checks, screenings, or other forms of vetting on users. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information users share, nor can we confirm any user’s intentions. By using our Services, you accept sole responsibility for the choices you make in connecting with other users.
3. Limitation of Liability
   To the fullest extent permitted by law, BOLD disclaims any liability for damages, injuries, losses, or harm resulting from interactions facilitated through our Services, including but not limited to physical, emotional, or psychological harm caused by other users.
4. Reporting Misconduct
   BOLD values the safety of its users and encourages reporting any instances of misconduct, harassment, or threats to jess@boldwristband.com. While we take all reports seriously, BOLD’s responsibility is limited to investigating and potentially removing violative users from the platform. BOLD does not provide emergency response services; in the case of an immediate threat or emergency, please contact local authorities.
5. Indemnification
   By using the BOLD Services, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless BOLD, its employees, officers, and affiliates from any claims or liabilities arising from your interactions or disputes with other users.
6. No Guarantee of Safe Interaction
   While we strive to provide a positive user experience, BOLD makes no warranties regarding the safety or security of user interactions. All connections are made at the user’s own risk, and BOLD cannot be held responsible for any resulting harm or dissatisfaction.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting on our website, and the date of the latest revision will be indicated at the top of the page. Your continued use of the Services constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
